Ham Exams, September 7, 2019

The next Ham Exam date is Saturday, September 7, 2019.
Exams are held at the Fox Valley Technical College, room B142. Use entrance door 12 on the west side of the building. Walk-ins are welcomed. Registration begins at 8 am and ends at 9 am. Late arrivals cannot be accommodated because of limited room time. A pictured government issued I.D. is required. Please see the ARRL.org license information for other forms of acceptable I.D.
If you will be upgrading you must bring a copy of your current license which will be attached to your application. Cell phones must be silenced and not allowed to be used during the exam. Calculators are allowed but programmable calculator memories must be cleared and are subject to exam by a VE.
Cost of the exam is $15 and is non-refundable. If you fail an exam you may re-take another version, time permitting, but it will cost another $15. If you are successful and want to take the next license element at that exam session there will be no additional charge.
If you have questions about the VE tests please contact Rick Kosiorek, W9RIC at (920) 809-1010 or rick@kosiorek.com.
Note: The General Class exams have been updated July 1, 2019.
