The next FCARC Ham Exams will be Sunday, November 4, 2018 at the FCARC Swapfest. They will be held in the lower level of Monarch Gardens, 2311 W. Spencer St. Appleton.
Registration starts at 9 am and ends at 10am.
You must show a government issued photo ID when you register for an exam.
If you will be upgrading it is important to bring a paper copy of your current license. We can not provide copies for you!
Our VEC, the ARRL, sets the fee at $15 cash or check. Checks are to be made out to the ARRL VEC. A failed exam can be retaken, time permitting, but you will be charged another $15.
Cell phone use is not permitted during the exam and must be turned off or silenced and put away. Calculators (excluding cell phone calculators) are allowed but programmable calculator memories must be cleared. A VE may inspect all calculators.
Successful first license candidates will receive a one year membership to the FCARC. Ask a volunteer examiner for an application.
