The EAA 2017 Special Event Station Certificates are hot off the press!

Certificates are available by sending a QSL & SASE (certificate size, certificates are printed on premium 90# stock) to:

Starting on Wednesday July 26 through Sunday July 30 2017 the W9ZL EAA Airventure Special Event Station will be on the air. We will be operating from 1300 UTC to 2030 UTC Wednesday through Saturday, and 1300 UTC to 1700 UTC on Sunday July 30 2017. We will be operating on 14,270, 7,250 and 50,150.

The FCARC will be providing communication for the Walk MS in Oshkosh on September 17. The walk will be held at Oshkosh West High School and will start at 10:00 AM. I am looking for 10 to 12 operator to assist with communications. If would you like to help with the Walk MS in Oshkosh, please contact Dave - ND9DW at dspranges@gmail.com

The Fox Cities Amateur Radio Club will be holding a brat fry at the Northland Avenue Festival Foods from 9 am to 5 pm this Sunday.

We need volunteers. You can work a few hours or the entire time. Please contact Donna at 920-858-5837 to sign up.

If you can't volunteer your time, please show up to eat. The brats are fantastic.

The next FCARC VE Exam will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Fox Valley Technical College, 1825 N. Bluemound Drive, Appleton, 54912-2277.
The room number is B142 and the closest entrance is door 12 located on the west side of the building. You can view a floor plan of the College at the following website.
http://www.fvtc.edu/appleton. Walk-ins are welcome. Registration is from 8 to 9 am. We only have the room until 11 am so we will not be able to accommodate late arrivals.

The weather is finally nice and with it summertime events like CommunityFest are fast approaching! This event is a great way to enjoy the summer sun, festivities, and company of other hams.

The calendar on this website shows a VE Test on May 13. It should read May 20!
