The FCARC is planning on holding ham exams September 12, 2020 at Maplewood Middle School in Menasha.

Because of the still very active Covid-19 virus we will be doing things different this time around. To maintain safe distance between each other we will only test a few people at a time. There will be fewer Volunteer Examiners than what I would like to have so wait times could be long. We asked that you pre-register for this session. Walk ins will be allowed but those that pre-register will be tested first.

Please read the following carefully:

Pre-registration is preferred. Walk ins will be tested after.

A picture ID is required.

Cost of the exam is $15.

Masks are required and you must provide your own! It must be worn properly over the nose and mouth. Removal of your mask while in the exam room will end your session. Masks are used to protect you and us, the VE’s. If you have issues wearing one then don’t attend this exam session.

You will need to provide your own pencils and/or pens and calculator (cell phone calculator apps are not permitted). Cell phones must be off.

If you are upgrading your license you must provide a copy of your current license.

A Federal Registration Number is preferred. You can get one on the www.FCC.Gov website. Without an FRN your Social Security Number will be required for the application.

Retakes will not be allowed for this session.

If you pre-register and fail to show up you will not be allowed to pre-register for future FCARC Exams.

If you are feeling sick or have a fever STAY HOME and call to let us know that you won’t be there. Test areas will be marked and sanitized between each use.

Start time is 8 am.

Send your pre-registration requests to w9ric.mail@gmail.com or call Rick, W9RIC, at (920) 809-1010.

Updates will be posted here on the www.FCARC.Club Website.

Regards,
Rick Kosiorek, W9RIC
