ARRL Email Forwarding Issues

Nov
23

I received an email from HamClubOnline stating that given the number of issues with the ARRL email forwarding service, they are suspending emails sent to @arrl.org addresses.

This presents a challenge in that we are moving towards using the HamClubOnline email service to share our club newsletter and other announcements.

If you are using an ARRL email address, please give us an alternate email while ARRL works through these issues. Otherwise, we can't help keep you informed.

73, Mike

Thank You PaceSetters!

Oct
26

PaceSetters of the Fox Cities has presented the Fox Cities Amateur Radio Club with an award for Dedication and Service. This is super cool and greatly appreciated.
Support of the community is one of the cornerstones of our club; one of the reasons we exist. While it's a lot of fun to help out, it's also very nice to be recognized for our efforts.
Thank you, PaceSetters!

145.330MHz Repeater Update

Oct
23

The 145.330MHz repeater is back on the air. Digital is back, Baby! Yeah!

Kudos to Andy Lawton, AJ9L, for coordinating and leading the project to get not one, but two, antennas back on the Neenah water tower. As soon as Andy turned the repeater back on, there was traffic. Cool stuff!

A special THANK YOU to Rick Kosiorek, WJ9K, for doing all the ground work. It's a critical job and Andy and I greatly appreciate you for doing it. You rock!

FCARC Fox Hunt - October 28th - Last of 2023

Oct
23

Saturday, October 28th. 0730 - 1630 - or until the batteries run out.
147.555MHz Somewhere in the Fox Cities. See Map.
Since Fox Hunting is a receive only activity, all future and current Hams are welcome to participate.
PLEASE DO NOT post where it is when you find it. A simple "Found it!" is enough. Allow others the thrill of the hunt. There are NO prizes.
Later in the day if someone needs a few hints... go for it.
You will be able to hear the fox from the 41/441 loop with a HT in the car. That's how I verify that it is getting out.
Have fun!
