Ham License Exams Saturday June 4, 2022.

The FCARC is holding ham exams Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Maplewood Middle School, 1600 Midway Road, Menasha, 54952. Start time is 8 am. Registration ends at 9 am.

Pre-registration is preferred but walk-ins will be allowed. Those that pre-register will be tested first.

Please read the following carefully:

A picture ID and a FCC Registration Number is required. FRN's are free and can be obtained from the FCC website at https://apps.fcc.gov/coresWeb/publicHome.do. An email address is required as well. Applications will not be accepted by the FCC without one.

Cost of the exam is $15,

You will need to provide your own pencils and/or pens and calculator (cell phone calculator apps are not permitted) and cell phones must be off.

IF YOU ARE UPGRADING YOUR LICENSE YOU MUST PROVIDE A COPY OF YOUR CURRENT LICENSE. No copy, no exam.

Failed exams can be retaken if time allows. You will be charged $15 for each retake.

The FCC has begun charging $35.00 for new license applications. Upgrades will not be charged the $35. We do not collect that fee. Upon completion of a successful exam the FCC will send you an email a link with payment instructions. You will have ten calendar days to make the payment. Be sure your email address is legible on your application form.
