Fellow FCARC members,

I have just received the following request from David Zimma KJ7JG. It had been first discussed during the 2018 Kidventure the aspect of adding an electronics booth to the Kidventure projects area. The children would be building a small receiver tuned on the control tower frequency. The project would entail some basic soldering of through hole components on a circuit board. .

This proposal has now become part of the Kidventure workshops for 2019 .For our volunteers it would be an additional option besides the radio special event station operations for anyone interested in helping out at the 2019 EAA Kidventure.

Contact David as listed below and also please advise me if you are interested in participating.

=============

We are in need of several volunteers for this year's EAA Kidventure crystal
radio assembly booth. It is the first year we will be doing it and could use
10-20 volunteers that are OK working with children. There will be only thru
hole parts and soldering. Around 20 parts in all.

Please call me to discuss or for more information. 352-444-9806
